Anthony Statler, LMT
If you are looking for a truly great massage experience, are recovering from an injury, training for an athletic event/competition or just looking for someone to plan your workouts and hold you accountable for them, I am your guy. I got my start in the wellness and fitness industry in 1999. I am an internationally trained world class licensed massage therapist, a certified conditioning coach with specialization in martial arts conditioning and I am a NESTA certified mind/body fitness specialist.
I practice a variety of eastern bodywork styles such as: Tui Na, Qigong An Mo, Traditional Chinese Medical Massage, Thai Yoga Massage, many of the standard western massage modalities and my own special brand of intuitive integrated bodywork called TYSM (Taoist Yoga Sports Massage). My most requested service is a 90 minute massage for relaxation and stress relief, but I also work with a good many athletes, rehab and post surgical clients as well.
I have written articles for multiple massage and wellness publications and have been a teacher, presenter and guest speaker at multiple massage schools, one med school and a national massage symposium.
My hobbies and interests include reading, philosophical study, physics, metaphysics and martial arts. I have two blackbelts, one in Tae Kwon Do and one in Shotokan Karate. I have also spent many years studying many other arts such as Chin Na, Alkendo Lotus, and the movement and meditation arts of Tai Ji and Qigong. I enjoy teaching qigong and self-defense/personal protection seminars on the side for both groups or individuals.
